This course is designed for undergraduate students, which is composed of six parts. Part 1 develops the concepts of mechanics, including Newton’s laws and conservation principles as applied to single particles and systems of particles. Part 2 is on oscillations, waves and fluids. Part 3 covers thermodynamics. Part 4 deals with electromagnetism. Part 5 treats optics. Part 6 introduces relativity and quantum. The goal of the course is to help students build the analytical and quantitative skills needed to apply physics in problem-solving for science and engineering, and develop an appreciation of the physical universe at its most fundamental level.
